dc.description.abstract The purpose of this work is to analyze the portability of the RSA cryptographic system for Arduino platform using an 8-bit AVR microcontroller. The work is proposed through an intense bibliographical review and study about the cause of the security problems in the Internet of Things, this includes which are the main problems, the result of this, and what are the consequences of this. By checking the reasons and making a survey of this information and crossing it with the security knowledge of the traditional information and its models and implementing the cryptographic system to t the limitations present in the Arduino platform. With the result of a functional implementation of RSA in Arduino, time data are obtained relating to the size of the messages to be used and also the size of the key pairs, arriving at the real conclusion of the di culties faced by low capacity devices. pt_BR
