DESENVOLVIMENTO DE FERRAMENTA PARA AUXILIO NA TRIAGEM CLASSIFICATÓRIA EM PRONTOS-SOCORROS

Abstract

With the growing demand for health services, there is a need for methodologies to improve the organization and control of the flow of people who use these services. Due to this, the purpose of the present work was to develop a tool for the Android platform, intended for the classification of patients following the Manchester Triage System, responsible for categorizing patients according to their severity. And, with this, help and facilitate the nurse who performs this screening process manually. For the development of this tool a study was made on the Manchester Triage System and how the risk classification is performed in the emergency services that use it manually. Based on this study, the tool was developed following the protocol exactly and later validated by teachers and nursing students through an online form.
