IMPLANTAÇÃO DE UM AMBIENTE DE BI UTILIZANDO UMA BASE DE PROCESSO SELETIVO COM A METODOLOGIA AGILE ROLAP

Abstract

Organizations generate information that is often not used by them. To take advantage of them, it is advisable to use BI that takes advantage of the data coming from diverse sources to generate information that can be useful in making a decision, generating reports, etc. But traditional methods of BI environment deployment are often expensive and time-consuming to complete. To solve this problem came the Agile ROLAP methodology, which in addition to using some OLAP visualization tools made for traditional methodologies, is also an alternative for small and medium organizations that seek to deploy a BI environment. The Agile ROLAP methodology uses tools and some plugins that were developed to facilitate the development of the BI environment. Therefore, this work seeks to analyze beyond the Agile ROLAP methodology, to analyze also the tools and the plugins that compose it.
