Resumo:
The Internet of Things is a model that has been growing very rapidly and covering different
areas, solving different problems, including in the production of food that needs to evolve
because of the world population increase. The great concentration of ammonia in poultry
production sheds is a problem that causes damage to poultry production damages to
animal and human health. Considering the severity of this problem, this work proposes
the development of a prototype capable of monitoring the concentration of ammonia in
a poultry house. In addition, the prototype monitors the temperature and humidity of
the environment, as they are important aspects in the development of the animals in the
aviary. The components used for the development are materials for prototyping, and the
sensor is responsible for collecting the ammonia concentration in the site, not ideal for an
end product, because it presents some problems such as imperfection and inconsistency of
the collected data. From this problem one has the option of choosing a better ammonia
capture sensor and a device capable of making the correct calibration of this sensor as
future work.
